The Kaanapali Fresh 2013 (#KFresh13) signature Food & Wine Festival event is billed as “Kaanapali 5-0” celebrating the resort’s Big 5-0 anniversary. An extravaganza worthy of the first and finest master-planned resort community in Hawaii pairs 12 of Kaanapali Beach Resort’s celebrated chefs with 12 Maui farmers for two dozen tantalizing culinary masterpieces on August 31 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The setting is open-air and under-the-stars, on the third hole of the Kaanapali Golf Course. Chefs and farmers present the finest local ingredients and mingle with guests, while Hawaii’s top female vocalist of all time, Amy Hanaialii Gilliom, and Hawaiian slack key master, Makana, fill the party with homegrown music.
